India’s first AI University will open on August 1 in Karjat, Maharashtra.
The Karjat Maharashtra-based Universal AI institution, which will begin its inaugural academic year on August 1.
And will aim to become India’s first institution to provide degree and postgraduate specialisation degrees in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
On January 25, the Maharashtra government’s Higher and Technical Education Department sanctioned this first-of-its-kind AI institution and issued the official opening letter.
The university has established an environmentally friendly campus in Karjat, close to Mumbai.
Universal AI University presents special undergraduate and postgraduate studies in artificial intelligence and future technologies.
Other cutting-edge courses include liberal arts and humanities, global affairs and diplomacy, law, ecology and sustainability, and sports sciences.
The university intends to develop its pupils in AI and machine learning skills.
This will ensure that the pupils have the necessary skills for the market.
The first institution in the world devoted to AI and machine learning, or ML, was the Mohamed Bin Zayed institution of Artificial Intelligence.
Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan created the university in Abu Dhabi.
Some examples of AI universities include the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States; the University of Toronto in Canada, the National University of Singapore, and the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
